Hello,
I am working in New Jersey(8th yr H1B extension) and my Employer is in Illinois. In my H1B LCA he mentioned Prevailing wage for New Jersey and Illinois.
1.My Employer is deducting tax from Illinois instead of New Jersey in
my Pay Slip. Can you please tell me which Prevailing wage I need to
compare in this situation?
2.Do I need to compare Gross pay of every month with the amount
mentioned in LCA or total amount (including all Bonus amount).
Please advise me .

In case dependent is in India and priority date is current. Will this impact on getting EAD for dependent and primary applicant.

yes. you cannot file AoS while out of country. you can file for yourself, but will have to file for the dependent/s when they return.

Yes there is away to track your 140.
Goto https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp and create your profile and you will be able to track the process. THere is option to receive email from USCIS whenever there is a change in your file (you have to select that option)

My wife will be relocating to Toronto,Canada for work and I will be traveling between the US and Canada. My employer is fine with me telecommuting 50% of the time which means I will be working 2 weeks remote and 2 in the USA for the next one year. I will continue to be a US FTE [Software Development] and also pay US taxes. Will I be able to continue being on H1B status while I travel or do I have to explore other visa options? Since I will be returning to the US every 20 days [and by road] will I be able to use the automatic I94 revalidation?

Friends - anyone here who has applied in PERM where job required B.S + 2 - 4 yrs of experience? Mine is a Job zone 4(sr. software engineer), requires B.S + 30 months and in the PERM form the lawyer has entered 'No' to H12 question 'Is this normal requirements'. Were they right? Or should I be worried? Anybody can share any experience? Thanks!

Our I-485 applications were received by Texas Lock box on September 24th. I have not received the receipt number yet. We are leaving to India on Nov 20th for vacation, its quite stressful because we need that receipt before we travel.

On the EAD application form, Q15 asks for the current Immigration Status.
What will be the immigration status of a person who entered US on H4 visa but started working later using EAD?
Since I-94 has H4, Is it OK to mention the immigration status as H4/AOS Pending ?

Immigration is a politically charged issue in Congress..the main opposition is in the Congress and not the Senate
