My father in law mistakenly entered the wrong date for his date of arrival in the U.S. (entered data in Indian style) on his citizenship application form. The number of days out of the country was also wrong.
Is there a way to rectify this mistake and inform USCIS about this ? Is there a form, or can we simply write a letter regarding the errors to the USCIS office ?
What would be the best way to address this issue ?

I-140 is employer's petition, so your tax returns are unnecessary. First of all I am filing by postal mail USPS(not e-filing)
1)is it necessary to include I-765 receipt notice(EAD) with my AP application.. But I have only my last years one which will expire in a few months.
2) for AP renewal is it necessary to include marriage certificate for spouse
3) When filing by postal mail, and also considering i applied my I-485/I-140 before july 30/2007, old fee schedule... do i need to pay biometric fee for my AP renewal
4) I am in Texas and for mailing EAD and AP - can I send them together for me and my spouse. I see different PO Boxes for EAD and AP addresses for the Mesquite, TX address
IN I-765, is it enough only to specify the previous EAD information regarding the office filed and receipt date...or do i have to include my OPT EAD as well as my previous EAD filed last year.
Any clarification is highly appreciated

CPA is not something thats awarded as a graduate degree by an accredited university. So probably no.

The answer depends on how far you have got in the permanent residence process. If the I-140 is approved and the 485 has been pending for 180 days, you can change employers if the new position is in the "same or similar occupational classification" as the one on the labor cert/I-140.

The AP document should say that you can be paroled until ABC date. That is the expiration of the AP.

Hi All,
I just called USCIS using the POJ method to check on my I485 status which is current for June (EB2 India PD is 3/20/04).
IO said a visa needs to be ordered for the file and it will be done in the next quarter i.e, July 08.She also said the file will not be assigned to the IO unless the visa is ordered??
Does this mean that all the visas for EB2 have been used for this quarter? Also, not sure why the file wont be worked on until the visa is ordered...which contradicts the pre-adjudication theory.

All,
My 485 was filed during the Jul 07 fiasco. My 485 online status became " fingerprinting fee has not been received and case will resume only after we get....". We even got a letter from uscis in oct 07 about this.
However we got a letter from USCIS again in Nov 07 that it was an error on their part and asked us to ignore the letter.
However the online staus remain the same.
Fingerprinting was done in sep 07, got couple of EAD's and AP's as well.
I have travelled once in AP and no issues.
Is there anybody else with the same situation?
Should i call the customer service and enquire?
Please advise.
