Hi All,
My cousin has a speech pathology (MSc) degreee from india and is trying for job oppurtunities in US( myself being a s/w i have no clue how this process works), can anyone of you throw some light on what kind of visa is needed, visa process involved, any consultants who can sponsor visa, and what are other things required to get started for this process. Any information is appreceiated.

In my company along with me 4 other folks also affected due to visa bulletin mess. I sent them an email on July 9th 2007 about flower campaign organized by IV to USCIS director. The sad part is no body showed any interest and did not bother to reply. They are also going to benefited by this decision. These people still beleive in Murthy and other lawyer firm updates. I really don't know how to make these folks interested in IV. Any ideas or other personal stories.

If a consultant moves from their primary work location to a client site in the same city (literally a few blocks down the street), is a new LCA or amendment required?
Do most people who work on project basis for different clients (and not fulltime for a particular employer) file a new LCA/amendment everytime they get a new project?

I guess USCIS is sending Receipt Notes according to priority dates meaning with 2006-7 priority dates will get receipts later.
My 485 reached on 2nd july...No Update yet.

Can I count part time experience obtained before my Bachelors degree for an EB2 petition?
I have 2.5 years of part time experience, can we use this and apply with MBA+1 requirements?

Fancy meeting you here, dohko! The experience at half time can be counted to be 1/2 time itself - i.e. 2 years under 20 hrs./week = 1 yr. full time.
Your experience however has to be obtained AFTER your Bachelor's degree.

Hi
My Wife was working as sole proprietor and she is planning to open Single Person LLC.
She is also planning to start her second business.
1) Can she do multiple businesses in ONE LLC?
2) Will she file multiple Schedule C for EACH business ( If you have one person LLC you can file taxes in Schedule C) ?
3) Does she has to apply for new Federal ID or she can use same she was using in Schedule C for this new LLC also?

I have 3yrs degree(Microbiology) and one year postgraduation diploma in computer science and 9years of work experience, Can I apply on EB2, some peolple saying at I-140 stage it gets problemetic with your degree, my employer says you can eligible to apply on EB2, Iam in real dilama, can any one please help me... thanks
I tend to think that your I140 in EB2 will be a problem. Specially so if your filing center is Nebraska. They have a reputation to be very very strict. Ask your employer if he has previously approved cases for people with your background.

I've been in the bay area of California for the past 10 months. I'm a Canadian from Toronto. I've been following this green card mess for the past 10 months and was well aware of it even while I was living back in Canada. I would like to join the Norcal chapter of IV to contribute my thoughts towards resolving this situation.

My Receipt date for 485 is july 27th 2007 and nebraska is processing applications for this date.
I applied for cross chargeability on 10th March.. Any idea how long before my case is approved? My lawyer has confirmed that its possible and he claims that it should take 4-8 weeks. I wanted to check to see what the experience of people has been so far?

I checked from Tijuana site that if one has an appointment in Tijuana, then they will verify for PIMS entry for that petition.
Question --
1) How much does it cost to setup an appointment in Tijuana ? Do you need to pay the entire visa fee ($125) upfront during appointment ?
2) If the above is not true (and appointment can be set at a nominal cost), is it possible to set up an appintment, get PIMS verified and then cancel the appointment (I am planning for stamping in India)
3) If the above is doable , is it considered fraud -- any issues likely during stamping ? I believe it should not be, since they are anyway getting the additional money for setting up the appointment.
